Owner's Manual HLA High Level Adapter
INSTALLING THE HLA
High Level Adapter
This adapter allows you to connect a source unit with speaker level outputs to your Xtant amplifier Identify the output speaker leads from the source unit Connect the positive speaker lead to the red wire and the nega tive speaker lead to the black wire (We recommend securing the connection with solder ) Repeat step for all other speaker outputs being used

High Level Adapter
Plug the RCA end of the HLA into the amplifier being sure to connect the right speaker to the right input and the left speaker to the left input See diagram below Set the BALANCED LINE switch to the ON position and turn the GAIN POT counterclockwise until it stops Turn on the system With the volume control on the source unit at / adjust the gain pot to your desired listening level
