Therefore, it is essential to ensure that refrigerant pipelines are not damaged. 15 PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS • Use the refrigerator compartment only for storing fresh foods and the freezer compartment only for making ice cubes, storing frozen food and freezing fresh food. Important: Storing vegetables with high water content can cause condensation to form in the crisper; this will not affect the correct operation of the appliance. 18 HOW TO USE THE FRESHBOX The appliance is equipped with a separate box for optimum storage of Meat and Fish. This precaution ensures that defrost water is removed correctly from the interior of the refrigerator compartment (Fig. 1 21 HOW TO DEFROST THE APPLIANCE Defrosting the compartment Defrost the freezer compartment once or twice a year or when the ice formation is excessive. The amount and speed at which the ice forms depends on ambient conditions and the frequency with which the door is opened. Leave the doors open to prevent the formation of mould, odours and oxidation. 22 TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE 1.
