[. . . ] To ensure the regular flow of chilled air inside the display counter, special attention must be paid when fitting the shelves that must be done following the instructions below. The correct installation will ensure that even temperatures are maintained inside the unit in the full respect of hygiene standards. 4 5) LAWS AND DIRECTIVES When connecting the appliance, comply with the following prescriptions: 1. Current building regulations and fire safety prescriptions 2. Current safety standards 3. Installation rules, CEI STANDARDS. 6) ELECTRICAL AND EQUIPOTENTIAL CONNECTION The power cord can be reached by unscrewing and opening the vent on the right (serving side). The on/off switch before the appliance must be near it and easy to reach. Each wire must be fixed to the relevant terminal; the earth wire must be longer than the other wires so that if pulled the latter is disconnected only after the power wires. Safety is guaranteed only when the appliance has proper grounding as currently prescribed. The screw is on the lower part of the right side (serving side) and it is marked by the symbol : 7) CONDENSATION WATER DRAINING Water is drained by falling on special basins fitted on runners underneath. Water can be drained directly into a trap (see installation diagrams for correct positioning). 5 8) GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Read the instructions contained in this paragraph very carefully; they contain general instructions concerning safety, operation and maintenance of the appliance. The appliance has already been submitted to a strict control by qualified personnel at the end of the process. Any repairs that may become necessary in time should be carried out only by qualified personnel. We suggest to apply always to the dealer where the unit has been purchased and possibly with the most precise information concerning the inconvenience and the data plate features. At the end of daily use, remember to switch off the appliance and disconnect power supply to it. If the equipment has to be moved, switch it off before performing this operation and disconnect power supply. Non-compliance with these instructions may affect the safety of the appliance and of the user. The manufacturer declines any responsibility in case the original functionality of the appliance has been affected because of non-compliance with instructions or when devices have been added or changed. 9) CLEANING AND CARE Warning: when cleaning the appliance, do not wash it with a direct or pressurised jet. Unplug the appliance, clean it with hot water and suitable common detergents. Do not clean with acid or corrosive substances, common steel pads or brushes that may deposit ferrous particles that oxidise causing rust spots. Stainless steel wool can be used externally rubbing it in the direction of the satin finish. [. . . ] 3. To ensure that the food and/or drinks are always kept at the right temperature, it is advisable to set the thermostats at a temperature of respectively -0/+2°C (Thermostat Top/tank) 0/+6°C (Thermostat cell) und +5/10°C (Thermostat display counter) 4. In the refrigerated display counter make sure to avoid obstructing the ventilation areas (suction/flowing) to ensure that cold air circulates properly. It is also important to keep the sliding doors closed as much as possible to avoid the temperature rising inside the unit. In case of models equipped with a heatless curtain on customers' side, keep it open only the time strictly necessary for serving. 8 [. . . ]
