[. . . ] When cleaning your refrigerator, do not splash water directly on the outer cabinet or the interior. This may lead to rusting and deterioration of the electrical insulation. When cleaning any areas adjacent to electrical components, unplug the refrigerator first to prevent electric shock. Should electrical components be accidentally immersed in water, unplug the refrigerator, dry the parts and contact your nearest service agent approved by SHARP. [. . . ] By disposing of this product correctly you will help ensure that the waste undergoes the necessary treatment, recovery and recycling and thus prevent potential negative effects on the environment and human health which could otherwise arise due to inappropriate waste handling. It means that used electrical and electronic products should not be mixed with general household waste. In other Countries outside the EU If you wish to discard this product, please contact your local authorities and ask for the correct method of disposal. For Switzerland: Used electrical or electronic equipment can be returned free of charge to the dealer, even if you don't purchase a new product. The bottom of the tray contains refrigerant material used in ice packs to speed up the ice making process. The tray can also be used to freeze small food items such as meat and fruits by removing the ice making partition. Do not over fill the tray; otherwise the ice cubes will be joined tosgether when frozen. When the ice cubes are made, turn the lever clockwise to empty the ice into the Ice cube box. In this way, food is refrigerated gently, without exposing it to cold air flow. Ice cube box To prevent damage to the Ice cube box, do not make ice in the Ice cube box or pour oil into it. Ice cube box Light Utility pocket cover Utility pocket Egg holder Door pocket Refrigerator shelf Shelf Bottle pocket (left) Vegetable crisper When no operation is made for 30 seconds, the display will automatically return to the initial content. The backlight will become dark when there is no operation for 3 minutes. When the refrigerator stops with power failure and the like, display at The time of re-power distribution shows similarly as before having a power failure. However, when it has a power failure during operation of Express Ice Making, Express Freezing, and Timer, operation is stopped at the time of re-power distribution. This refrigerator is provided with a THERMOMETER in the refrigerator compartment to allow you to control the average temperature in the coldest zone. The coldest zone goes from the Shelf at the bottom of the refrigerator compartment to the symbol. (The door pocket positioned at the same height isn't the coldest zone. You can carry out regular checks to ensure the temperature in the coldest zone is correct and, if necessary, adjust the refrigerator temp. control as indicated in the chapter "Controlling Temperature". To maintain a correct temperature inside the appliance, check that the thermometer is always BLUE. If the thermometer turns WHITE, the temperature is too high; in this case, increase the refrigerator temp. Control setting and wait for 6 hours before checking the thermometer again. [. . . ] When the compartment light is blown contact the SHARP Service Center to request a replacement compartment bulb. The compartment bulb is not to be removed other than by qualified service personnel. If you switch your refrigerator off when you are going away for an extended period, remove all food, clean the interior thoroughly. Remove the power cord plug from the power socket and leave all doors open. [. . . ]
