Load a cassette into the cassette compartment with the side to be played facing you. Press the PLAY 1 button. I Cassette tape To advance the tape, press the STOP/ EJECT I 7 button, then press the F FWD 3 button. To rewind, press the STOP/EJECT I 7 button, then press the REWIND 2 button. Precautions: G Be sure not to press the PLAY 1 and REWIND 2 buttons simultaneously, or the tape will become damaged. G Before changing from one tape operation to another, press the STOP/EJECT I 7 button. G Do not press the PAUSE 6 button whilst the fast forward or rewind operations are in progress. The F FWD 3 or REWIND 2 button will not be released when the tape end is reached. Once this occurs, press the STOP/EJECT I 7 button. G For playback, use normal or low-noise tapes for the best sound.
