When loading A3 or B4 size paper, pull out the tray extension. The maximum number of sheets that can be loaded in the bypass tray is approximately 100 for plain paper. Place paper that is A5 (7-1/4" x 10-1/2") or smaller in the horizontal orientation. Special types of paper that cannot be loaded in other trays can be loaded in the bypass tray.
