To change a fuse in this type of plug proceed as follows: 1 Remove fuse cover and fuse. If the fitted plug is not suitable for your socket outlets, it should be cut off and an appropriate plug fitted in its place. Helpful Hints: ­ Some camcorders cannot be controlled by the on-screen DV control buttons. ­ It is not possible to record both PAL and NTSC video format recordings on the same recordable DVD. A Turn on the TV to the correct viewing channel for the recorder. B Connect the Digital Video or Digital 8 camcorder to the DV IN socket on the front panel. C Press CAM twice on the remote control The recorder switches to DV IN mode. All the content in the Time Shift Buffer will be cleared. Note: ­ The time taken to copy a title from the HDD to a recordable DVD depends on the record quality of the HDD recording. ­ It is not possible to change the mode of recording quality during the copying process. Hence it is important that you choose the appropriate record quality when recording the content to the HDD. The following information will be stored on the recordable DVD disc: ­ Title/ name of recording ­ Date/ time of recording ­ Record quality/ length of recording ­ The title thumbnail channel for the recorder. English A Turn on the TV to the correct viewing B Insert a recordable DVD into the recorder. C Press HDD LIST on the remote control. D Use keys to select the title to copy and press OK. Only brands and models of digital cameras which support USB Mass Storage Device class standard are supported. During playback, the available playback options are displayed at the bottom of the screen. For more playback information, read the chapter "Playback an audio CD (MP3/ WMA)", "Playback a picture disc" or "Playback a DivX disc" for details. English D To stop playback, press STOP x or remove the USB flash drive/ USB memory card reader from the USB port. Helpful Hints: ­ The USB port only supports the playback of JPEG/MP3/WMA/DivX files. ­ The USB port does not support the connection of other USB devices except to a USB flash drive / USB memory card reader. ­ If the USB device does not fit into the USB port, a USB extension cable is required.
