COFFEE LENGTH This section allows to program the quantity of water to be used for each selected beverage. The buttons ( ) or ( ) allow to determine exactly the quantity of coffee to be brewed. The strip on the display shows the estimated value of this parameter. 24 BEVERAGE MENU CAPPUCCINO COFFEE QUANTITY PREBREWING COFFEE TEMPERATURE MILK QUANTITY This section allows you to program the quantity of milk for each selected beverage. The buttons ( ) or ( ) allow to determine exactly the quantity of milk to be dispensed. The strip on the display shows the estimated value of this parameter. MILK FOAM This section allows you to program the milk frothing method. LOW = minimum frothing NORMAL = medium frothing HIGH = maximum frothing OFF = no frothing (only hot milk dispensing) Note: Milk frothing deactivation is not allowed for all products. When the frothing option is disabled, the temperature of the dispensed milk might be lower. The beverage can be then warmed up by dispensing steam from the steam wand (see page 19). HOT WATER WATER QUANTITY DEFAULT WATER QUANTITY This section allows you to program the quantity of water to be dispensed when pressing the hot water button. The buttons ( ) or ( ) allow to determine exactly the quantity of water to be dispensed. The strip on the display shows the estimated value of this parameter. OFF To deactivate the acoustic alarms ON To activate the acoustic alarms ECOMODE This function enables allows you to choose how the boilers on the machine are activated, to promote energy saving. OFF This function activates all the boilers each time the machine starts up to be immediately able to dispense all kinds of beverages. This function activates only the coffee boiler each time the machine starts up. The machine saves energy but takes longer to dispense milk-based beverages. ON 27 MENU DISPLAY DISPLAY MENU This menu allows you to set the menu language and the display contrast. LANGUAGE This setting is of fundamental importance for correctly adjusting the parameters of the machine according to the country where the machine is used. ENGLISH The currently selected language is displayed. BRIGHTNESS To set the correct display contrast according to the room illumination. 28 MACHINE MENU CALENDAR CALENDAR This menu allows setting all the time and calendar functions and their related functions. TIME This setting is fundamental for the correct operation of all those functions requiring precise time settings. All changes will be automatically applied to all those functions displaying time format. DATE This setting is fundamental for the correct operation of all those functions requiring precise date settings. To set the display format for the date according to personal preference. All changes will be automatically applied to all those functions displaying date format. STAND-BY To set the time interval for the machine to go into stand-by mode after the last brewing.
