[. . . ] If the device cannot detect your service provider, you can define the settings manually in the Nokia Internet Modem application. When prompted, enter the personal identification number (PIN) code or the universal personal identification number (UPIN) of your SIM card. The (U)PIN code helps to protect your SIM card and is usually supplied with the card.
