While in Phone mode (see "Modes and Menus" on page 13) press P under "Mail". Use the on the side of the phone to scroll through messages.
Press P under "Save" to Save the message. Or, press P under "Erase" to delete the message.

Press P under "Exit" to exit Mesg Mail.
Sending a Page
Nextel's Paging feature includes four options: Web Paging (Web Messages), Email Paging, Numeric Paging and Operator Assisted Paging. To use these features review the following information.

Web Paging (Web Messaging)
Nextel's Web Paging enables you to page yourself, someone else or a group of Nextel customers and includes "Schedule for Later" option, which allows you to send yourself reminders. To use Web Paging, follow the steps below:

From your computer's Internet browser, go to nextel. com and click "Send a Message". The browser automatically opens to "Send an Individual Message". To page an individual, or yourself, type the applicable 10-digit Nextel phone number (for example, 7035551234) in the "To" field. In the "To" field, type an individual's 10-digit Nextel phone number. The information is inserted in a new window and the "To" field is cleared so you can enter another 10-digit Nextel phone number. · To schedule a message for future delivery (up to 6 months in advance), click on "Schedule for Later". A new page appears with the following fields: Month, Day, Year, Hour, Min. Click the down arrows at the end of each field to select the desired month, day, etc. (The "Cancel" button closes the page without saving your selections. ) Type a Subject and a message in the message box. You can click on the "Count Characters" button to have the system tell you the number of characters in your message. The total includes characters from the "To", "From", and "Subject" fields as well as system generated characters. You can send text messages up to 280 characters in length, sent as two sequential 140 character messages.

Click "Send Message" to send the message. (The "Clear" button removes the information from every field. ) A new browser page opens with a copy of your message, the recipient's telephone number and a Claim Number. You can write down the Claim Number to check on the delivery status later.

Checking Delivery Status
To find out whether or not a message was delivered, and, if so--when-- follow the steps below:

Email Paging From any email account, type the 10-digit phone number, of a Nextel customer, in the "To" field and add @page. nextel. com (for example, 7035551234@page. nextel. com). Numeric Paging · The caller must press "1" during your Voice Mail greeting. Operator Assisted Paging* · The caller can press "2" during your Voice Mail greeting. · The operator will send the page.
