Steam ironing · FILLING THE WATER TANK : - Unplug your iron before filling it. The mixture of water / steam will take with it any residues of scale contained in the soleplate. - Re-set the steam control button (C) to the dry position - Using slow, deliberate movements, tilt the iron from left to right in order to rinse the soleplate thoroughly and to get rid of the remaining water. - Empty the tank - Plug in the iron again to dry the soleplate, which should be done over a cloth (watch out for any splashes of water and steam). - After this operation, unplug the iron again and allow it to cool before cleaning the soleplate. - Clean the soleplate (cold iron) with a piece of thick, clean, damp cotton before putting away the iron or before using it again.
