If your water is very hard (check with your water authority), it is possible to mix untreated tap water with store-bought demineralised water in the following proportions : 50% untreated tap water, 50% demineralised water. STEAM SETTING POSITION · CLEAN THE ANTI-CALC VALVE, LOCATED UNDER THE STEAM CONTROL BUTTON (C). - To remove the anti-calc valve, place the steam control button (C) on and pull the valve upwards. - Soak the valve in a cup of white vinegar or plain lemon juice for 4 hours. · USING THE SELF-CLEANING FUNCTION In order to extend the life of your iron, use the SelfCleaning function once per month (do not use descaling agents). - The iron must be cold - Set the steam control button (C) to the dry position.
