[. . . ] Turntable This glass plate is placed on the ring bearing in the middle of the oven and must be engaged with the drive. Containers containing food to be cooked or to collect particles and juices produced by food during cooking are placed on the turntable. Direct Access accessory - Using the DUO function, the Direct Access accessory lets you heat two plates at the same time. Place the first plate under the grill and the second on the upper part. [. . . ] Turn the rotary button to the number corresponding to the food to be cooked. €¢ The programme number will appear on the display together with the cooking method symbol. Once you have chosen programme, press the “Start/Select” button to confirm your choice. €¢ The weight will appear on the display together with the “gr. If you fail to respond after 3 seconds, the “START” symbol will flash on the display asking you to start defrosting. €¢ The oven will start for a period perfectly suited to your preparation and shown on the display. €¢ When cooking is finished, the oven will give out 4 warning sounds and the display will show: For programmes 1 and 3, the oven will give off a warning sound half way through and set to pause so you can turn the food over to obtain perfectly even defrosting. turn the food over and press “START” to start defrosting cycle again. When cooking is finished, the oven will stop a few minutes before the end of the programmed cooking period for perfectly even defrosting. Automatic cleaning – 20 cl of water You must give the oven amount of liquid to be heated. 23 1-Microwave 2-Grill 3 3-Microwave grill 1 Microwave cooking Cooking using the upper grill resistor element Combined “microwave and grill” cooking You cannot change the cooking method while in process. Defrosting If you wish to defrost food without using the automatic Auto Defrost programme, set power to 180W (see detail on operations above). EN MICROWAVE MODE (microwave only) Use this mode to cook, heat or defrost food manually. This means you do not need to select it using the “MODE” key. You can change them at any time and in whatever order, even when cooking. Therefore, you do not need to make a selection if you wish to use maximum power. However, if you wish to use a lower power level, select by pressing the “W” key as many times as necessary to show 700W, 600W, 450W, 300W, 180W (defrosting) or 100W. €¢ In this case, the defrosting symbol will appear on the display together with the symbol microwave cooking mode symbol. GRILL MODE * To be used preferably with the Direct Access accessory (see details on accessories p. [. . . ] Some additional advice • To melt butter : Put 50 g of butter in a small, shallow, glass dish. • To melt chocolate : Put 100 g of chocolate in a small , shallow , glass dish. Cleaning You are advised to clean the oven regularly and remove any food deposits. The following parts of your microwave oven must be cleaned regularly to prevent grease and food particles accumulating: • Inner and outer surfaces of your appliance • The door and its seals • The drive, the crown and plateau If the appliance is not kept in a good clean condition, its surface could become damaged leading inevitably to reduced service lifetime and possible hazards.
