ENGLISH ENG 1 Set the default Web browser to Internet Explorer. 2 Click the TUSB3410 driver. 5 Check "I Agree" on the License Agreement screen and then click [Next]. 3 Click the TUSB3410 Driver on the CD's main screen. (The file download window may vary depending on the operating system and the Internet Explorer version, but the installation procedures are same. ) 6 The installation proceeds as described below. CAUTION Click "Run" to proceed the drive installation. yy If you click "Save", the installation will not continue. 4 When the TUSB3410 driver installer starts, click [Next]. 7 Complete the installation. INSTALLING TRUE COLOR FINDER 25 INSTALLING TRUE COLOR FINDER Insert the the owner's manual CD included in the product packaging into your PC's CD driver and install the True Color Finder software. ENG ENGLISH 1 When the True Color Finder installer starts, the window appears as shown below. Select a language and click [Next]. 4 Enter your User Name and Company Name, and click [Next]. 2 Click [Next]. 5 Click [Change] to change the installation path. Click [Next]. 3 Check "I accept. . . . " on the License Agreement screen and then click [Next]. 6 Click [Install] to start the installation process. 26 INSTALLING TRUE COLOR FINDER 7 When the installation is complete, restart the system. CAUTION If yy any third-party calibration application is installed on your PC, the calibrator may not work properly and you are advised to remove it. ENGLISH ENG NOTE To yy be able to use the True Color Finder function, you need to purchase a supported calibrator. After installing True Color Finder which is provided with the product, perform calibration. For yy details on supported calibrators and graphic cards, see the True Color Finder user guide. If yy you have changed the input port, we recommend that you calibrate the monitor's picture quality again. CAUTION If yy an incompatible calibration application is installed on your PC, a warring message appears asking you to remove the application during the installation. 8 When you run the True Color Finder soft- ware, the True Color Finder icon [ ] appears in the system tray at the right bottom of the PC screen. Right-click the True Color Finder icon and select "Start Program" to start the program. INSTALLING SCREEN SPLIT 27 INSTALLING SCREEN SPLIT Insert the owner's manual CD included in the product packaging into your PC's CD Driver and install the Screen Split software. ENG ENGLISH 1 When the Screen Split installer starts, the window appears as shown below. Select a language and click [Next]. 4 Enter your User Name and Company Name, and click [Next]. 2 Click [Next]. 5 Click [Change] to change the installation path. Click [Next]. 3 Check "I accept. . . . " on the License Agreement screen and then click [Next]. 6 Click [Install] to start the installation process. 28 INSTALLING SCREEN SPLIT 7 When the installation is complete, restart the system. ENGLISH ENG 8 If you run Screen Split, the Screen Split icon [ ] appears in the system tray at the right bottom of the PC screen. Right-click the Screen Split icon and select a layout you want. CUSTOMIZING SETTINGS 29 CUSTOMIZING SETTINGS Activating the Main Menu 1 Press the Menu ( ) button. 2 Use the <, > buttons to adjust the options. To return to the upper menu or set other menu items, use the Menu ( ) button. ENG ENGLISH 3 Press and hold the Menu ( ) button to exit the OSD menu. Monitor buttons Button Menu ( ) If the menu is inactive Description Activates the main menu. If the menu is active Goes to the previous screen when the button is pressed; exits the OSD menu when the button is pressed and held for over 3 seconds. If the menu is inactive If the menu is inactive OK Adjusts the volume level of the monitor. If the menu is active Left directional key Adjusts the volume level of the monitor. If the menu is active Right directional key If the menu is active: pressing OK selects the function. If the menu is inactive: pressing OK shows the resolution of the current signal (only when there is input signal). (Power Button) Power Indicator When the monitor is in operating mode, the power indicator will turn red (on mode). When the monitor is in power-saving mode, the power indicator will blink red. NOTE All of the buttons are touch sensitive and can be operated by simply touching the bottom of the monitor with your finger. 30 CUSTOMIZING SETTINGS Customizing settings ENGLISH ENG Menu Settings 1 To view the Menu OSD, press the Menu ( ) button at the bottom of the monitor. Exits the OSD menu. CUSTOMIZING SETTINGS 31 Ratio Settings ENG ENGLISH 1 To view the Menu OSD, press the Menu ( ) button at the bottom of the monitor. Ratio To return to the upper menu or set other menu items, use the Menu ( Sub Menu Wide Cinema1 Cinema2 Original 1:1 Back Exit Each option is described below. Menu > Ratio Wide Cinema1 Cinema2 Original 1:1 Back Exit Description Displays the video in wide-screen, regardless of the video signal input. (at 1080p) Enlarges the screen with an aspect ratio of 21:9 including the black box area at the bottom for subtitles. (at 1080p) Displays a video according to the input video signal aspect ratio. Exits the OSD menu. NOTE The yy display may look the same for Wide, Original and 1:1 options at the recommended resolution (2560 x 1080). [. . . ] Check the cable and reconnect. Is the "OUT OF RANGE" message displayed? Is the "CHECK SIGNAL CONNECTION" message is displayed? The "OSD LOCKED" message is displayed.
