You can also use the button to switch off the Powerbrush while vacuuming, for example when moving from carpet to hard floors. The Powerbrush automatically shuts off anytime the body of the vacuum cleaner is placed into the full upright position. A new filter is included in every box. Exhaust filter change indicator Certain models are equipped with an indicator (reset button), to show you when to change the Active Air Clean b or Active HEPA c filter. The indicator will turn red after approximately 50 hours of operation, which is equivalent to about one year of average use. Once the indicator light comes on, you can still continue to use the vacuum cleaner. If an Air Clean filter is being used, the filter change indicator can be disregarded but should be reset when it does light. The indicator goes out when the reset button is pressed. 26 Maintenance and care Replacing the "Air Clean" filter Do not use more than one filter at a time. ^ Remove the filter frame. ^ Open the filter frame and use one of the two clean corners to remove the used Air Clean filter.
