[. . . ] The electrical safety of the appliance is only guaranteed if it is connected to an efficient earth installation, as foreseen in applicable electrical safety regulations. The use of adaptors, multiple sockets and or extension cables is not recommended. Where it is not possible to avoid their use, only adaptors or Where the appliance is not to be used, turn off the appliance and do not attempt to repair. If a repair is required, contact a Technical Assistance Service authorised by the manufacturer and request the use of original spare parts. [. . . ] if the cable for this appliance is damaged , contact an authorised Technical Assistance Service for it to be replaced. Do not leave the appliance exposed to the elements (rain, sun, ice, etc. Do not use or let any part of the appliance come into contact or near hot surfaces (kitchen gas or electric hobs or ovens). Do not let the cable come into contact with the hot parts of the appliance. Make sure that the on/off switches of the vacuum cleaner and the hand-held vacuum are in the off position before charging. It is advisable to change the dust container filter every three to six months, depending on use, to ensure maximum performance of the appliance. After cleaning the container filter, make sure that it is completely dry before reinstalling it in the vacuum cleaner. Do not put the filter in the washing machine or dry it with a hairdryer. Do not use the appliance if the vacuum pipes are obstructed in any way, as the motor may overheat. The batteries need to be charged 12 hours prior to using the appliance for the first time. to start the vacuum cleaner , press the on/off button of the vacuum cleaner (10) or move the on/off switch of the hand-held vacuum (7) to the ON position. To stop the vacuum cleaner, press the on/off button (10) again or move the on/off switch of the hand-held vacuum (7) to the OFF position. HAND-HELD VACUUM: To extract the hand-held vacuum (5) from the appliance, press the hand-held vacuum release button (3) and pull it out as shown in figure D. Once you have extracted the hand-held vacuum, move the on/off switch (7) to the ON position to start it. Move the on/ off switch to the OFF position to stop the hand-held vacuum. To put the hand-held vacuum (5) back into the appliance, firstly place the lower part into the receptacle on the appliance and then push the hand-held vacuum towards the appliance until it clicks into place in the receptacle. Empty the dust container and clean the filter after every use in order to achieve the maximum performance of the appliance. Make sure that the appliance is not connected to the charger before cleaning the dust container. Press the container opening button (8) and pull it out of the container (9). Extract the filter from the container by pulling it out as shown in figure H. [. . . ] Extract the filter from the container by pulling it out as shown in figure H. Wash the filter with cold water and wait until it is completely dry before placing it back into the container. Once the filter is dry, carefully place it back into the container (9).
