Before using this appliance for the first time, read the following instructions carefully and keep them for future reference. Make sure that the mains voltage in your home corresponds to that indicated on the appliance. [. . . ] â· When the motor is blocked by something, the appliance will stop for 3 seconds to prevent it from catching fire or short-circuiting due to the high voltage of the electrical current. In this case, take the appliance to the nearest service centre for it to be repaired. FLEXIBLE EXTENSION HOSE: Extract the flexible extension hose (12) from the back of the vacuum cleaner and insert the small nozzle of the hose into the nozzle of the hand-held vacuum as shown in figure E. With the extension hose connected to the vacuum cleaner, it will have more vacuuming flexibility. CREVICE ACCESSORY: The crevice accessory (14) can be used with the flexible extension hose (12) or directly connected to the hand-held vacuum (5). If you wish to use the accessory with the flexible extension hose, follow the steps described in the "Flexible extension hose" section and connect the crevice accessory (14) into the large nozzle of the extension hose as shown in figure F. However, if you wish to connect the crevice accessory (14) directly to the hand-held vacuum (5), insert the accessory into the nozzle of the hand-held vacuum as shown in figure G.
