[. . . ] µ The amount of food to be frozen at once must not exceed the freezing power indicated on the specifications plate. µ Ensure that your food to be frozen is in good conditions. µ To prevent the food from drying out, wrap it in aluminium foil or plastic film. µ Do not put food to be frozen in contact with food already frozen. µ Do not store bottles with carbonated drinks or glass bottles containing liquids in the freezer. µ Do not eat very cold ice-cream or food: this may burn the mouth. ⵠLabel the wrapping , indicating the content and the freezing date. µ To utilise the maximum freezing capacity, we recommend you remove the food in the freezing area and place the food items to be frozen on the freezer shelves. µ To make the maximum volume available for use, we recommend you remove all the baskets except the bottom one and place the food items on the shelves. µ To extend the maximum stand-alone time in case of a power failure, set the top shelf aside for cold accumulators (ice trays). ICE-MAKING: µ Fill the trays in the freezer up to three quarters, with water. µ If your freezer has an ice-making cold accumulator, (ice trays), you will be able to produce and store ice cubes both inside and outside the freezer. If this is excessive, it will cause your refrigerator to consume more energy. µ Defrosting must be done as quickly as possible; if the temperature of the food rises, the period of conservation is reduced.
