Hot surfaces - Burns to fingers or hands To ensure correct and safe operation, the user must read, understand and follow this instruction manual to assure familiarity with the handling of the blower (1). Move the control handle along the swivel pipe to the most comfortable position. Adjusting engine RPM when the cruise control lever is being used: When increasing RPM: Pull the trigger lever to increase engine RPM. When removing the spark plug, clean the spark plug and cylinder head first, so that no dirt, sand, etc will enter the cylinder. (1) Opening/closing the plug cover To open the plug cover, pull up on the seam of the plug cover projection and slide in the direction of the "OPEN" indication as shown in the figure at right. When closing the cover, slide the cover in the "CLOSE" direction till the click under the plug cover projection rides over the engine cover. (2) Removing the spark plug Use an attached box wrench to remove or install the spark plug. (3) Checking the spark plug The clearance between two electrodes of spark plug (see the figure left) is 0.
