To check the level of coolant and oil, remove the cap on top (remove screws 1 and 2). 000 kilometres, or after long trips, the level of the cooling liquid should be checked when the engine is cold. Separate lubrication This scooter is equipped with a separate lubrication system, which consists of the oil reservoir, which is located underneath the saddle, and the feed pump, which is located in the left hand side crankcase cover. The reservoir, which has a capacity of 1, 25 litres, is fitted with a reserve indicator which causes the oil reserve warning light on the instrument panel to light up when the level of the lubricant falls to only 0, 25 litres. Carburettor A perfectly operating carburettor is the basis of good performance from the engine. the carburettor has been adjusted in the factory to give the best possible carburation. NOTE: It is a good idea to clean the carburettor periodically using clean petrol and high pressure air. The fuse is located inside the battery compartment; to change it, take it out of its support and put the new one in its place. If the fuse blows again within a short period of time, consult your Official DERBI Service Agent. Maintenance of the battery - When not in use, the battery will discharge at a rate of about 0.
