Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] , Sociedad Unipersonal, wishes to thank you for the confidence you have shown us in your purchase of an ATLANTIS 50/100 cc 4-stroke scooter. In this manual we indicate the principal details of how to care for your moped or motor scooter, so that you will be able to operate it at its best and extend its lifetime, at minimum cost. Take care of your moped or scooter, and DERBI Quality will take care of the rest, with original spare parts and a network of more than 40 thousand Agents and authorised workshops throughout the country, and we are sure that you will derive total satisfaction from the use of your vehicle. If you experience any problem, please consult the closest DERBI representative. [. . . ] In all 4-stroke engines, deterioration of the oil specifications and a certain degree of oil use should be considered normal. Riding with the throttle always wide open will increase oil consumption). In order to prevent any problems it is recommended to check the oil level every time the machine is used. Checking the oil level To check the oil level, unscrew the dipstick-cap, clean it and screw it in again. Then unscrew it once again and check that the oil level is between the MAX and MIN marks. While the oil is being checked the machine should be up on its centre stand and on a horizontal surface. In the case of the dipsticks with two marks, the oil level should be in the lower half of the stick. Rear hub oil level Check that there is oil in the rear hub Recommended products Rear wheel hub oil GEAR SYNTH 75W90 SYNTHETIC API GL 5 EP oil Technical specifications Rear wheel hub oil Oil capacity 100cc Presión de inflado en frio Pression de gonflage à froid Pressione di gonfiaggio a freddo Cold tyre inflation pressure Reifendruck bei kaltem Reifen Neumático delantero Pneu avant Pneumatico anteriore Front tyre Vorderreifen Solo Conducteur seul Solo Rider only Allein Con pasajero Avec passager Con passegero Rider and pillion passenger Mit Beifahrer Neumático trasero Pneu arrière Pneumatico posteriore Rear Tyre Hinterreifen The nicks in the oil level dipstick other than the MAX level mark are intended for use in other models in our range, and have no specific function in this machine. Tyre pressures Riding with a pressure different from that indicated in this section can lead to problems in the way the machine rides. It is therefore strongly recommended to check and correct tyre pressures frequently. Note: Tyre inflation pressures should only be corrected while the tyres are cold. If they are hot, tyre pressures should only be adjusted if they are too low. Under-inflation of the tyres not only accelerates wear and tear on the tyres, but also has a serious effect on the stability of the scooter. Ensure that the tyre pressures are within the limits set out in the table. A tyre with excessively low pressures increases fuel consumption, and has a unnecessary adverse impact on the environment. The tyres incorporate a wear indicator, and should be changed as soon as the indicator becomes visible on the tread. To do this, take your machine to an authorised Service Centre, or at least one which has installed the proper equipment for removing and fitting tyres. Removing the Spark plug Too change the spark plug use the following procedure: After removing the access hatch to the spark plug located in the central fairing, disconnect the H. Cable from the spark plug and unscrew it using the box spanner supplied When installing the spark plug, insert the plug into the orifice and tighten it by hand observing the correctly inclined orientation: use the spanner only for the final tightening. When re-fitting the access cover, follow the same procedure as for removal, in inverse order, paying special attention to fitting the locating lugs on the spark plug cover into their seatings in the central fairing. After withdrawing the strap below the saddle, unscrew the 7 cross-head securing screws. Withdraw the filter element and wash it with water and shampoo, and then dry it with a clean cloth and light jets of compressed air; then submerge it in a 50% mix of the recommended oil and petrol. [. . . ] In the event of a puncture, an emergency repair may be carried out by using an "inflate and repair" type pump. For final complete repair, you should go to your Authorised DERBI Service Centre. For these operations you should go to your Authorised DERBI Service Centre.
