Check that the transit bolts have been re moved from the back of the unit (see in stallation instructions). To prevent overdrying of laundry which would cause it to shrink or crinkle, avoid se lecting excessively long drying times. This can easily lead to misjudgements. 18 Setting a wash programme Selecting a continuous washing / drying programme 1. Setting a drying time automatically adds a drying programme to the active wash and spin programme, taking into account the type of laundry being washed. At the start of the drying cycle, the "Start in Hours / Ready in Min. " display indicates the number of minutes of drying time remaining in the programme cycle. To protect the laundry in the case of wool pro grammes, erroneously selecting a drying time will not cause a drying cycle to be added to the wash programme. When washing temperature sensitive fabrics: Press the "Higher Water Level" button. This causes the drying temperature to be lowered in the Easy care programme (dry ing of acrylics), and the Anti-Crease func tion to be switched off. Tip: a summary of programmes and addi tional buttons can be found in the slot in the soap dispenser. 19 Starting a programme / Programme sequence Approximately two seconds after selecting the programme, the unit is ready to start. If the door is not shut properly a safety device prevents the machine from operating. Press the "Start" button. The control light of the first programme segment of the selected programme illumi nates in the programme sequence display.
