When the cover plate cavity is half full, tighten the pump cap and empty the cover plate cavity. i Repeat the last two steps until all the washing solution has been drained. Remove any loose debris / fluff from inside the pump and clean the pump. Clean any residual lye or fluff from the thread of the pump cap and pump housing.
