Plug the small connector from the power adapter plug in the connection socket on the sender. When charging the batteries for the first time we recommend a charging time of 12 hours. Without the rechargeable batteries the receiver might not work correctly. To do this, turn the catch at the bottom of the battery compartment and pull the battery compartment cover downwards. Close the battery compartment and press the catch until it engages on the battery compartment cover. Plug the small connector from the power adapter plug in the connection socket on the receiver. When charging the batteries for the first time we recommend a charging time of 12 hours. To do this, slide the belt clip in the guides on the battery compartment cover until they audibly snap into place. Check the sender and receiver are in perfect working condition each time before they are used. 1 Switching on the sender Note: Position the sender out of reach of the baby. It continually transmits the noises made by the baby to the receiver when switched on. Note: To ensure optimum transmission, the integrated microphone must be pointed towards the baby. When the sender is connected to the microphone, the sender can be operated inside the teddy. Turn the volume control towards ON", the receiver is switched on. It continuously receives all the sounds made by the baby from the sender which has been activated. Note: If the volume is set to its minimum setting, any activity by the baby is still indicated by the LED which lights up. In the event of a power failure or disconnection from the power supply, the units automatically switch to battery operation.
