[. . . ] 39 Dialling and storing telephone numbers when using on private exchanges . Batteries Do not use any other kind of rechargeable batteries, as these could possibly lead to a short circuit. When changing the batteries, always use four new batteries, type AAA 1. Do not dispose of old or faulty batteries with the normal household waste. Making a call using the receiver or handsfree feature The telephone can be used like any conventional telephone and, in addition, has some useful special features, which make phoning considerably easier for you. You have two ways of making a call: A: Making a call using the receiver 1. If the number dialled is longer than this, only the last 16 digits will be displayed. If you want to change during a call from the receiver to the handsfree facility, press the button and replace the receiver on the rest. If the number dialled is longer than this, only the last 16 digits will be displayed. If the other party accepts the call, his voice will be heard over the in-built loudspeaker.
