Chilling of warm groceries: This function is used in connection with large amounts of groceries at room temperature being placed in the fridge. After 6 hours the Quick chill automatically shuts off and the temperature gradually goes back to its normal setting. Carbon filter's function: The built-in carbon filter means that strong smelling groceries can be placed near other groceries without affecting their taste or aroma.
