Tips on using the roasting chart The figures in the following table are for guidance only. To prevent escaping meat juices or fat from burning on to the pan, we recommend placing some water in the roasting pan. Warning: For cleaning, the appliance must be switched off and cooled down. Warning: For safety reasons, do not clean the appliance with steam jet or high-pressure cleaning equipment. Important: Do not use any abrasive cleaners, sharp scrapers or abrasive items. Doing so can damage the catalytic surface. Outside of the appliance Wipe the front of the appliance with a soft cloth and a solution of washing-up liquid and warm water. With metal fronts use the cleaners that are commercially available. Over time the catalytic coating can discolour slightly. This does not affect its catalytic properties. Accessories Wash all slide-in units (shelf unit, baking tray, shelf support rails etc. ) after each use and dry well. Soak briefly to make them easier to clean. Oven Interior Oven lighting You can switch on the oven light to make cleaning easier. To support this self-cleaning process, we recommend heating the oven without any food at regular intervals. Wash the oven floor with warm water and washing up liquid, then dry it.
