[. . . ] Rotate to change the microwave power in steps from 100%, to 10% in the following sequence; `P100', `P80', `P50', `P30', and `P10' symbol illuminates when 50% or less power is selected 3. 05 and 1 minute are in increments of 5 seconds ­ Selected time between 1 and 5 minutes are in increments of 10 seconds ­ Selected time between 5 and 10 minutes are in increments of 30 seconds ­ Selected time between 10 and 30 minutes are in increments of 1 minute ­ Selected time between 30 and 95 minutes are in increments of 5 minutes 5. The display will show the cooking time left and the and or symbol will flash (depending on power level selected). Any additional operation of this push button will add '60 seconds' to the existing cook time. During microwave cooking or `defrosting by time' pressing the button at any time will increase the cook / defrost time by 60 seconds. Note: A power level of 240 watts (P30) is the default setting for defrosting in this mode and cannot be changed. Multi- stage cooking The oven can be set to defrost / cook in two stages. If frozen food is heated in its packaging, the packaging should be opened. Packaging containing metal or metal decoration must not be used unless specifically recommended for use in the microwave. Smaller pieces of aluminium foil can be used to cover parts that easily over cook such as chicken legs. Put large, thick pieces close to the edge of the casserole and try to cut the food in to even sized pieces. Always set a shorter cooking time than indicated in your recipe to avoid over cooking. Allow a few minutes 'standing' time after the oven has switched off to ensure complete and even cooking results. Use pot holders or gloves when taking dishes and food from the oven. microwave tips · Softening Honey If you have a jar of honey which has crystallised, remove lid and place the jar in the oven, microwave on medium power for 2 minutes.
